Way to go Logo

Throughout the semester we have focused in on many design aspects. We have discussed how various aspects of a graphic design can be incorporated and cohesively make a great work of art. As the semester slowly wines down we have been able to add more of our creative touches on our work. Our personality shows through all of our projects but to me more so our logo and business card. Simply because their was format to follow or instructional when it came to the design it was just all of our creativity and personality displayed in one graphic. Much like the logos down below. The Starbucks logo has to be one of the most commonly viewed logos. Not only because they probably undoubtedly have the best frappuccino but because of the floating mermaid like female surrounded by a green emblem. When doing the thumbnails for  this logo project i had no idea what  i wanted to do nor create until i actually started sketching. I was able to create three designs all for different thing. The  first being a logo for an image  consultant         company called  Nia  & co. The  second logo to promote a fashion styling company and last but not  least the  third logo is more so for self promotion, an multi-purpose logo. In all of the thumbnails that i have created i treated show my personality in each. I love fashion and color and being able to  recreate fashion and make it your own. Whether its putting fashion looks together for myself or for someone else i enjoy the creative aspect of it and would like to show in all my logos.My personal favorite is the first one, because of how i added the aspect of the camera to represent an image along with the company name, i thought it was unique and eye catching. Is that really what you see or what you think you see?

As humans we have the ability to see, using our vision we chose what we decide to look at and give our attention to. Using our vision we are  able to see a various amount of colors, shapes and sizes. It is how we receive and comprehend these images that determines how will feel about an image. These are things we do in our everyday life but even more when we are viewing videos, pictures, and even people. A poster however, can incorporate all those things in one! Easy on the eye  The ribbon in this poster on the right cohesively brings together all the words that might come to mind when thinking about cancer. The words were just the building blocks to create one major theme, which is that we are all given one life to live so don't let the lack of awareness about cancer be the reason as to why you may lose that one life. Black was the perfect background color to go along with the assortment of colors in the actual ribbon. None of the colors in the ribbon would be as
